Happy and proud to announce that the participants of the “Fit In, Fit Out” project were warmly received by the Mayor of Ruse, marking a significant step in promoting Erasmus+ and volunteering in the local community. The meeting, which took place on 4th September 2020, became a highlight not only for the participants but also for the local community as the event garnered attention in the pages of the local newspaper.
The “Fit In, Fit Out” Youth Exchange, which brought together young people from the UK, Romania, and Bulgaria, aims to promote healthy living and encourage positive lifestyle choices. Beyond the structured activities and engaging workshops, the participants seized the opportunity to connect with local authorities, further strengthening the bonds between the international group and the vibrant city of Ruse.
Led by the project organizers, the participants had the honor of meeting Mayor Pencho Milkov at the Ruse City Hall. The Mayor, known for his commitment to youth development and community well-being, extended a warm welcome to the diverse group.
