In the heart of “The Roots” project lies a profound mission—to bring young people back to nature, fostering a deep connection with the outdoors and promoting valuable outdoor experiences. This initiative, rooted in the belief that nature holds transformative power, is set to unfold in the picturesque landscapes of Ivanovo village, Ruse, Bulgaria.
As we eagerly prepare for the arrival of 44 vibrant youngsters from Belgium, Spain, Portugal, and Bulgaria, the core aim remains clear: to provide a haven for outdoor exploration, learning, and personal growth. In a world increasingly dominated by technology, “The Roots” seeks to counterbalance the digital with the natural, offering participants the chance to unwind, breathe in fresh air, and immerse themselves in the beauty of the great outdoors.
Throughout the project, young people will engage in activities designed to reconnect them with nature, fostering appreciation for the environment and building a foundation for sustainable living. From outdoor workshops to team-building exercises, every element is carefully curated to create an atmosphere where participants can rediscover the joys of the natural world.
