“After many challenges created mainly by the pandemic, our Erasmus + “Healthy lifestyle means happier life!” project took another step towards realization, last weekend when the leaders of the young participants came to Romania for the APV (Advance Planning Visit) meeting. Leaders from Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, France, and Egypt were present. The purpose of the meeting was to finalize the objectives and activities of the project and to visit the place where it will take place.
The location and surroundings of Tomești delighted everyone, being a suitable place for our project about a healthy and balanced life which will last 8 days. Together we set the schedule so that it is suitable for youth exchange and in accordance with the theme of the project. The most fun part was setting the menu – every day the menu will be diversified, specific to the gastronomy of the five participating countries.
We are glad that we had the opportunity to organize this meeting, despite the challenges of COVID restrictions, but it was a lesson that “Anything is possible when you want something and do whatever it takes to make it happen.”
