Tolerance Lesson at Primary school Antim I

In a remarkable milestone for our educational initiatives during 2015, we conducted our very first tolerance lesson at ‘Antim I’ Primary School in Sofia. With eager hearts and open minds, 20 bright young participants from the 5th and 6th grades engaged in an enlightening session that aimed to instill the values of tolerance, debunk stereotypes, and foster a culture of understanding.

During the lesson, we talked about tolerance, unraveling its meaning and exploring the reasons why it is crucial in our interconnected world. The participants actively participated in discussions, sharing their thoughts and experiences.

One of the key aspects covered was the exploration of stereotypes and the importance of breaking them down. Through interactive activities and games, the students gained insights into how preconceived notions can limit our understanding of others. They were encouraged to challenge stereotypes and embrace diversity, fostering an environment of acceptance and inclusion.
